City of Goose Creek

Josh Tronnier became the City's Director of Public Works on Oct. 2, 2026, after joining the City in November 2024 as Assistant Director.

Before coming to Goose Creek, Josh spent four years as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager for Charleston County, where he worked on transportation and stormwater engineering and permitting. Prior to that he served three years as an IT Supervisor for the Florida Panthers NHL team.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of South Carolina. He serves as the National Young Professionals Committee Chair for Region III of the American Public Works Association (APWA) as well as the South Carolina Young Professionals Committee Chair.

His goals for Goose Creek are simple: Serve its residents to the best of his ability and be a good steward of the City's resource

When not doing so, Josh enjoys eating his way through the Charleston area's robust food scene.
