City of Goose Creek Emergency Notification System (RAVE Alert)

The City of Goose Creek provides the RAVE Alert Emergency Notification System ("Notification System") to communicate emergency and important public safety information to residents, businesses, visitors, and others who voluntarily subscribe. By enrolling in the Notification System, you consent to receive automated text messages (SMS), voice calls, emails, and other notifications regarding emergencies and important municipal information.

Types of Messages

Notifications may include, but are not limited to:

• Severe weather watches and warnings 
• Emergency evacuations 
• Shelter-in-place orders 
• Public safety incidents 
• Water outages and boil water advisories 
• Major road closures 
• Railroad crossing closures 
• Emergency debris collection 
• Significant interruptions to City services 
• Other emergency or time-sensitive public safety information 

The Notification System is not intended for advertising or commercial marketing.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on emergencies, weather events, and other situations affecting the community.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and service plan.

Availability

The City of Goose Creek cannot guarantee delivery of every notification. Delivery depends on wireless carriers, internet providers, power availability, and other factors outside the City's control.

Changes

The City may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page.
