FALL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL REGISTRATION

2026 Registration: June 29-July 16

Registrations are taken online or in-person at the Goose Creek Community Center. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9 am to 9 pm; Saturday 7 am to 7 pm; and Sunday 7 am to 7 pm.

Registrations are also accepted at the Goose Creek Activity Center. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-12 pm/3 pm-8 pm and Saturday 9 am-2 pm.

Both building are located in the Michael J. Heitzler Recreation Complex, 519A North Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, 29445.

You can register online during the registration period. Be sure to checkout and pay the registration fee to complete your child's registration.

Fee

There is a $50 registration fee for residents; $85 for non-residents. There are no refunds on Goose Creek Recreation Athletic programs.

Participants will receive pants, hat, socks and a team shirt. Players must provide their own glove, batting helmet with face mask and chin strap, and cleats.

Residents are those who live in the City of Goose Creek and the Goose Creek Recreation Commission Special Purpose District only.

Identification

A birth certificate and proof of residency required when registering.

Acceptable forms of proof of residency include:

Homeowners: drivers license or picture identification and most recent utility bill
Renters: drivers license or picture identification, most recent utility bill, and original rental agreement
Current address must be on all proofs of residency

Ages & Leagues

The following are our fun instructional leagues, intended to build skills and confidence. Teams will travel in the tri-county area. Age groups are based on the following Spring season to prepare participants for the Spring League. Please note: Ages groups may be slightly different than what is listed below due to the birthday cut-off.

DYB Baseball includes the following ages as of April 30, 2027:

Ages 4-5 (T-Ball)
Ages 6-7 (Coach Pitch)
Ages 7-8 (Modified Kid Pitch)
Ages 9-10
Ages 11-12
Ages 13-15

DYS Softball includes the following ages as of December 31, 2026:

Ages 6-8 (Coach Pitch)
Ages 9-10
Ages 11-12
Ages 13-15

Please note: Team and Coach requests are NOT guaranteed. Ages 9+ will be drafted. Players who do not show up for the player evaluation will be randomly placed on a team.
