SPRING BASEBALL/SOFTBALL REGISTRATION

Registration dates: January 5-22, 2026. After January 22, a $15 late fee will be charged IF space is available.

Sports registrations are taken online or in-person at the Goose Creek Community Center. Office hours are 9 am to 9 pm; Saturdays & Sundays 7 am to 7 pm. Registrations are also accepted at the Goose Creek Activity Center. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-12 pm/3-8 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 2 pm.

Both buildings are located in the Michael J. Heitzler Recreation Complex, 519A North Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, 29445.

Fees

There is a $50 registration fee for residents/ $85 for non-residents. Residents are those who live in the City of Goose Creek or the Goose Creek Recreation District. After January 22, a $15 late fee will be charged if space is available. There are no refunds on Goose Creek Recreation Athletic programs.

**Note: Non-residents are NOT eligible for post season All-Star play per DYB, DYS & SCAP rules.

Participants will receive a hat, team shirt, pants, and socks.

Participants must provide their own glove, cleats and batting helmet with face mask and chin strap.

Identification

A birth certificate and proof of residency required when registering.

Acceptable forms of proof of residency include:

Homeowners: drivers license or picture identification and most recent utility bill
Renters: drivers license or picture identification, most recent utility bill, and original rental agreement
Current address must be on all proofs of residency

DYB Minors 9-10 (Field 5) & DYB Youth Ozone 11-12 (Field 7) - 6:00PM

Softball- 10U (9-10) & 12U (11-12), Fields 4 & 2 - 6:00PM

Team and Coach requests are NOT guaranteed.

SPRING Practice & Game Schedules-

Practice will begin in March at Felkel Field. Season runs March-May. Schedules cannot be predetermined due to not knowing number of participants/teams.
