City of Goose Creek

A Town Hall Meeting with Century Aluminum and DHEC representatives will be held at 6pm on Monday, Oct. 9, at Goose Creek City Hall. Mayor Habib will moderate this discussion, which will include questions from attendees. Experts in toxicology, air quality and public health from DHEC will join Century Aluminum leaders who will discuss the issue of excess emissions at the plant, and the plan to fix this problem. Mayor Habib feels strongly that giving residents a chance to hear directly from both Century and DHEC will be helpful. Everyone is invited to take part in this event.
