Goose Creek benefits from County's state-of-the-art recycling facility

Goose Creek residents continue to benefit from a state-of-the-art recycling operation in Berkeley County that separates recyclable material from residential trash after it is picked up.
The facility, which is run by RePower South, processes all waste in Berkeley County, and it automatically separates recyclable material from the trash. Trash that cannot be recycled will be taken to the county landfill.
Berkeley County fully transitioned to RePower South for its recycling program in 2019.
