Bob Semashko named City's 2025 Employee of the Year

Congratulations to Bob Semashko, the 2025 City of Goose Creek Employee of the Year. Mayor Habib and City Council honored Bob at this week’s City Council meeting.
Bob, a maintenance employee at the City’s Crowfield Golf Club, took on new responsibilities for six months this year when his supervisor at the golf course had to leave due to military obligations. That time included the club’s busiest summer months.
“Bob stepped into the void,” Mayor Habib said. “The impact that he's made has been great. He clearly goes above and beyond in service to our citizens and everyone who uses that golf course.”
The Mayor said that Crowfield Golf Club is important to Goose Creek, and that “Bob has left us speechless and thankful … that place looks phenomenal.”
Crowfield General Manager Troy Sanders called Bob a team player who makes a difference: “Bob truly cares about his job, the club and his co-workers."
